    ElastoGreen is joining the Malta ClimAccelerator, the company is located in Malta and active in Materials innovation with a physical product solution: ElastoGreen MATS. This solution contributes to SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production, Target 12.5 and besides this and the climate mitigation potential below it has these positive impacts: The recycled mats are going to be used in public recreational places with a lot of foot traffic and therefore contribute to the awareness and popularity of recycled sports- and recreational equipment.

    ElastoGreen MATS has a GHG emission reduction potential by providing training mat blocks for martial arts and yoga studios with our proprietary elastomeric recyclable plastic made from up-cycled post-consumer plastic waste and bio-based building blocks instead of training mat blocks made from fossil-based EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate).

    Cocompost is joining the Bolivia ClimAccelerator, the company is located in Bolivia and active in Crop farming & processing with a physical product solution: Cocompost bin. This solution contributes to SDG 2: Zero hunger, Target 2.4 and besides this and the enabled climate potential below it has these positive impacts: The company’s solution fosters social interaction among residents and educates them about the importance of waste reduction and healthy soils.

    Cocompost bin has a GHG emission reduction potential by enabling a residential street (average 250 households) who intend to fertilize urban gardens, to use community composting to produce organic fertilizer instead of using chemical fertilizers. The current behavior is a result of the perceived alternatives (inorganic fertilizer, commercial organic fertilizers, home composting, manure, biochar), motifs (use a convenient option to create beautiful and productive gardens) and the attitude towards the current behavior (affordable option). Cocompost bin primarily aims to influence the norms, beliefs and incentives.

    Our solution intervenes to motivate     a residential street (average 250 households) to use community composting to produce organic fertilizer in 8 hours, because they become aware of the reduced environmental impact enabled by community composting and feel part of this positive change, all while incurring no economic costs. This leads to GHG reductions because less inorganic fertilizer is used and less organic waste has to be managed. These GHG reductions will be monitored by measuring the kg amount of community compost used per bin to know the impact, and new community composting bins will be installed around the city to grow the impact. In the first year, 3 are reached, and 20 in year five, of whom we think 20% will change to use community composting to produce organic fertilizer.

    With our     Cocompost bin we enable a residential street (average 250 households) to use community composting to produce organic fertilizer, instead of using chemical fertilizers.     Refillery has a GHG emission reduction potential by enabling customers of supermarkets who intend to clean their homes, to refill their reusable containers at self-service refill stations placed in supermarkets instead of buying home cleaning products in single-use solid plastic containers. The current behavior is a result of the perceived alternatives (cleaning products sold in flexible pouches or as concentrates), motifs (intention to clean in a convenient way) and the attitude towards the current behavior (current alternatives are seen as not convenient enough). Refillery primarily aims to influence the norms, beliefs and incentives.

    Our solution intervenes to motivate     customers of supermarkets to refill their reusable containers at self-service refill stations placed in supermarkets in 0.05 hours, because the first convenient refill and cleaning experience we provide will motivate customers to stick with this new way of buying and using home cleaning products. This leads to GHG reductions because less single-use solid plastic containers get produced and wasted. These GHG reductions will be monitored through collecting data from the refill stations to know the impact, and introducing the solution to the big supermarket and drugstore chains to grow the impact. In the first year, 20,000 are reached, and 500,000 in year five, of whom we think 60% will change to refill their reusable containers at self-service refill stations placed in supermarkets.

    With our     Refillery we enable customers of supermarkets to refill their reusable containers at self-service refill stations placed in supermarkets, instead of buying home cleaning products in single-use solid plastic containers.     EcoSoft Ltd is joining the Canada ClimAccelerator, the company is located in Canada and active in Production with a cyber-physical system solution: LineAdvisor. This solution contributes to SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure, Target 9.4 and besides this and the enabled climate potential below it has these positive impacts: cultivating awareness and engagement among management and employees about energy consumption, operational waste, and sustainability

    LineAdvisor has a GHG emission reduction potential by enabling manufacturing companies who intend to maximize immediate productivity, minimize disruption, and simplify short-term operations, to proactively adopt data-driven energy-efficient practices based on the efficiency insights provided by our proprietary system made of software, factory floor sensors and IoT devices instead of inefficient energy use and neglect of proactive energy-saving measures. The current behavior is a result of the perceived alternatives (investing in energy-efficient machinery, adopting regular preventive maintenance routines, optimizing operational scheduling, and utilizing energy management systems), motifs (intention to maximize short-term financial performance and minimize complexity) and the attitude towards the current behavior (inefficient energy use is perceived as an acceptable short-term trade-off or lower-priority concern). LineAdvisor primarily aims to influence the norms, beliefs and incentives.

    Our solution intervenes to motivate     manufacturing companies to proactively adopt data-driven energy-efficient practices based on the efficiency insights provided by our proprietary system made of software, factory floor sensors and IoT devices in 32 hours, because the first convenient experience with our system will motivate managers to stick with this new way of optimizing their assembly lines. This leads to GHG reductions because the assembly lines will consume less electricity. These GHG reductions will be monitored through collecting anonymized data from factories to know the impact, and the solution is going to be introduced to factories around and beyond Canada to grow the impact. In the first year, 10 are reached, and 200 in year five, of whom we think 80% will change to proactively adopt data-driven energy-efficient practices based on the efficiency insights provided by our proprietary system made of software, factory floor sensors and IoT devices.

    With our     LineAdvisor we enable manufacturing companies to proactively adopt data-driven energy-efficient practices based on the efficiency insights provided by our proprietary system made of software, factory floor sensors and IoT devices, instead of inefficient energy use and neglect of proactive energy-saving measures.
